Horsham Children’s Parade

A joyous celebration of creativity – this spectacle of imaginative models and costumes, upbeat music and dance, will parade through Horsham’s town centre and park – uniting schools, children, families and the wider community through a magical and fun shared experience.

Produced in association with Happy Accidents – a Horsham-based not-for-profit community arts organisation.

Horsham Children’s Parade returns on Sunday 7th July 2024.

Hundreds of children from across Horsham District will showcase their creations and costumes made in workshops with professional community artists.

The parade will start at 11am in Denne Road and end at 12noon in Horsham Park where it will mark the opening of the Rotary Club’s Funday Sunday, and is FREE TO WATCH!

The parade theme is ‘Spirit of Sport – The Olympics & Paralympics’. With the Olympics & Paralympics taking place in Paris from July to September, this year we just had to celebrate sporting achievement. Schools will be representing a range of Olympic sports, from football to skateboarding, as well as the iconic torch and rings and the origin of the games.
